In 2016, we moved to our new, state-of-the-art college prep campus in Delano, and in the Fall of 2017, added an elementary school in Delano and opened a second charter school in Lost Hills. In Delano, we serve over 1,800 students in grades TK-12, while in Lost Hills, we serve over 400 students in grades TK-12.

Job Description

The SPED Teacher's role will be to create a supportive learning environment in which to help students meet their learning goals. Through interesting and diverse methods, successful strategies to reach IEP goals, and access grade-level curriculum. They oversee student progress by tracking assignment and exam grades in order to provide useful feedback. WCPA teachers are results-driven educators with experience in and commitment to standards-based curriculum and the use of data and assessments to drive instructional decisions.

• Data & Assessment :  Regularly engages in individual student case management by proactively making data-driven decisions
• Innovation :  Develops and executes SPED IEP goals following the regulations associated with federal and state guidelines in collaboration with the support team.
• Professional Growth : Committed to continuous growth, actively engages in professional development opportunities, and contributes to our professional learning community. Thrive in an environment of high expectations and collaboration to grow and hone their craft.
• Community Outreach :  Demonstrates commitment to the community by communicating regularly with families and attending key community events

Skills, Knowledge :

Pay Range : $66,745.12 - $110,152.35 .  Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
