Shipping Coordinator

Location : Fairfield, NJ

Shift : First Shift

Pay : Up to $25 / hour based on experience

Job Description : We are seeking a skilled Shipping Coordinator to efficiently manage inventory control, packing, and shipping of parts to customers, as well as receiving incoming materials. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate physical bin inventories, inspect and modify parts, and ensure orders are processed and shipped correctly according to established procedures.

Responsibilities :

• International and domestic shipping and receiving.
• Assist with physical inventory management and cycle counting.
• Physically place received materials, parts, and supplies into correct locations or departments.
• Verify products and materials are in proper locations.
• Interface with Sales and Purchasing regarding incoming parts and outgoing orders.
• Manage physical inventory tasks, including changing bins for new items or additional space.
• Modify parts when applicable.
• Perform general warehouse duties such as receiving, parcel, and LTL shipping.
• Stage parts for customer orders, including removing items from inventory bins using a pick ticket.
• Process removed items accurately from the ERP system.
• Compare identifying information and quantities on packing slips against customer orders, note discrepancies.
• Pack items properly for shipment and ship packages via specified carriers.
• Prepare records of shipment and bills of lading.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $25.00 / hr.
