Job Description
We are hiring an Environmental Health and Safety Manager in Milton, DE .
This position interfaces with Boston Beer Company management, supervisors, coworkers, and others involved in EHS administration, compliance, and security concerns. External contact is maintained with insurance carriers, governmental agencies, consultants, and peers in local safety, health, and security organizations.
What You'll Brew :
- Provide EHS leadership, support, direction, accountability, and responsiveness for the Milton Brewery
- Lead compliance, security, ergonomic, environmental, and industrial hygiene programs across the brewery and hospitality locations.
- Lead EHS program development and execution for the Milton Brewery.
- Workers Compensation oversight, including reporting, case management, and oversight of all incidents.
- Strengthen site EHS culture through coworker engagement, ownership and accountability, behavior-based safety efforts, and other process improvement initiatives.
- Provides EHS coworker orientation, EHS training, and all required EHS regulatory reporting.
- Conduct compliance audits and reviews necessary to meet company and local compliance requirements to reduce risk liability.
- Implement and oversee the execution of Brewery EHS programs / processes to fully comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Drive EHS compliance through training, audits, process / equipment review, and proactive risk elimination and institute site injury prevention program to include hazard analysis, JSA, incident / accident investigations, trend analysis, etc.
- As needed, maintain and promote good working relationships with all local, state, and Federal regulatory agencies.

In accordance with pay transparency lawsthe salary range for this role if hired is 85,200 - 135,000.00 annually based on location and the experience level of the candidate. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance. Minimum Qualifications :
Minimum of (5) years of EHS experience in an industrial settingDemonstrated ability to create and execute safety programs that engage coworkers and enable a safe work cultureStrong track record of leading continuous improvement in functional areasStrong understanding of and ability to manage systems under applicable regulatory controls - local, state and federalDemonstrated experience in Root Cause investigationPreferred Qualifications :
Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist (Comprehensive Practice preferred), and / or Certified Environmental Professional.Six Sigma Green Belt CertifiedDemonstrated success receiving a range of environmental permitsExperience building and implementing a sustainability programSome Perks :
