About the Role

This role supports complex commercial and industrial construction projects across central Iowa, coordinating engineering functions, project documentation, and technical oversight. The Senior Construction Project Engineer works closely with project leadership to ensure smooth transitions from design to field execution.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee RFIs, submittals, document logs, and project engineering workflow.

Assist with schedule development and progress tracking.

Support cost analysis, forecasting, and budget updates.

Coordinate between design teams, vendors, and field teams.

Perform site walks to ensure accurate installation of engineered systems.

Assist with closeout documentation and turnover packages.

Qualifications

3+ years of engineering or project coordination experience in commercial or industrial construction.

Strong understanding of construction documentation and sequencing.

Proficient with project management and engineering software platforms.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.
