Data Scientist- global leader in private markets and alternative investments

Saragossa is partnered with a global leader in alternative investments, known for its scale across private equity, real estate, credit, and infrastructure.

As part of its continued focus on technology and data-driven decision making, the firm is seeking a People Data Science Associate to join its People Analytics organization. This group plays a critical role in shaping how the firm attracts, develops, and retains top talent.

In this role, you will work directly with the Vice President of People Data Science and partner with HR and the Strategic Incentives Group. You'll apply statistical research, predictive modeling, and data engineering to understand patterns in hiring, performance, and retention. You will help build predictive tools, create dashboards and reporting frameworks, and design analytics that improve workforce planning and organizational effectiveness.

The technical environment includes Python or R, SQL, predictive modeling, and modern reporting tools. Experience with statistical methods, supervised and unsupervised learning, and strong communication skills are central to success. Exposure to LLMs or text analysis is welcomed, though not required.

The starting base salary for this position will range up to approximately $180,000, with with bonus, equity, and a benefits package offered.
