Job descriptionPatient Demographics : All ages Patient Volume / Census : Approx. 19,000 annually ( 52 / day) Admissions : Yes (volume TBD) Case Mix : General emergency medicine EMR System : Epic Support Staff Available : 10 hours daily of NP / PA coverage Reason for Coverage : Supplemental Coverage Hospital Privileges Required : Yes Rate : TBD Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES General emergency medicine procedures Advanced airway management Wound care and laceration repair Licenses : Active Mississippi license required Board : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or relevant specialty DEA : Active DEA Certification required Certifications : BLS, ACLS preferred Experience : Minimum 2 years of ED experience preferred Other Qualifications : Proficiency with Epic EMR strongly preferred Provide emergency care to a diverse patient population Work 12-hour shifts alongside NP / PA support Accurately document all encounters in Epic Collaborate with nursing and advanced practice staff Adhere to hospital policies and emergency care protocols
