Job Overview :

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated RNfor a Full TimeNightposition in our ED Crisis Unit at Community Medical Center.

Qualifications : Required :

RN Degree

NJ RN License

BLS, ACLS, PALS (American Heart Association)

At least one year Current ED or Behavioral Health Experience

Preferred : BSN

Certification

Scheduling Requirements :

Night Shift 7p-7 : 30a

Essential Functions :

The RN is an intricate part of the ED ScreeningTeam assisting in caring for patients in Crisis in a Locked Unit.

Team consists of Psychiatrist, RN, MHA & MH Screener

Administers and notes reactions to psychotropic drugs and other medications

Assists in maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and patients

Assists the client in understanding the nature of emotional disturbances and accepting the need for treatment
