Commercial Construction Capital Project Manager

Brock11 Consulting LLC is hiring on behalf of a highly respected construction firm with a strong track record in delivering large capital commercial and industrial projects. This is a high-priority role with excellent earning potential, leadership responsibility, and the chance to make a significant impact on large-scale projects.

Location and Compensation

Location options :

  • Walbridge, OH (preferred) : Candidates may be based in the Walbridge office. Relocation assistance is available. When assigned to out-of-town projects, Walbridge-based employees receive a temporary base pay increase in addition to per diem and home travel stipends.
  • 100% Travel Role : For candidates open to a fully travel-based position, compensation can reach up to $200,000, depending on experience.

Compensation :

  • Walbridge-based : $150,000–$160,000 base + pay bump during out-of-town assignments.
  • 100% travel-based : Up to $200,000 base (includes all travel assignments).

    • What You'll Do

  • Oversee and complete large capital commercial and industrial construction projects.
  • Develop and implement strategies for timely, cost-effective, and safe project delivery.
  • Provide regular project status updates to senior leadership.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
  • Enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
  • Oversee quality standards, inspections, and QA / QC processes.
  • Resolve challenges and prevent delays through proactive decision-making.
  • Lead and motivate project teams to achieve extraordinary results.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Contribute to strategic and operational initiatives that drive organizational growth.

    • Must Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Experience with commercial construction projects above $70M.
  • 12–15 years of progressive experience in construction and project management.
  • Proven track record managing large commercial and industrial construction projects.
  • Ability to travel out of state for extended periods of time.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to build trust, resolve conflict, gain commitment, and hold teams accountable.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of safety practices; OSHA 30 preferred.
  • Experience with multiple contract delivery methods (preferred).
  • High proficiency in relevant computer applications and project management tools.
