Duties will be to stay on top of court and case deadlines, propound and respond to discovery, prepare for trial, and assist attorneys in all aspects of litigation.
We are seeking a paralegal who is highly motivated, detail-oriented, has exemplary organizational skills, excellent people skills, and is able to communicate well with clients via phone and email. The candidate must also be able to think strategically and anticipate future tasks to be completed in a timely manner.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case materials
- Organize and maintain case files, including indexing and filing documents
- Prepare and manage trial exhibits
- Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to schedule hearings, depositions, and other meetings
- Maintain confidentiality of client information
- Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, managing calendars, and scheduling appointments
