General Functions :

Under the direction of the Education Program Director, the Certified Teacher is responsible for overseeing the development, organization, and implementation of a high-quality YMCA Educational Program. This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 35 pounds. Visual requirements include close, color, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
