Job Purpose

Complete daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual tasks, as assigned, to facilitate the monthly general ledger close process, as well as the quarterly and annual reporting requirements. Take ownership of duties assigned and assists in research and analysis of non-standard transactions and apply appropriate accounting guidance. Ability to cross train duties and use critical and analytical thinking related to generally accept accounting standards. Provide back-up and support to other corporate accounting functions, as determined by management. Assist with the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement closing process and related internal controls.

Job Duties

• Perform daily and monthly corporate accounting duties.
• Prepare and record standard general ledger entries.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement closing process and related internal controls.
• Research outages and be able to explain and / or record correcting journal entries.
• Include being responsible for and / or back up of three major job functions which could include the following :
