Role Summary

The Associate Director of Research will be engaged in the leadership and management of the Research Scientists and Study Coordinators.

Role Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
• Manage the day-to-day activities, resources, and budgets of the study directors and study coordinators
• Oversee study protocols development, day to day client management, and study report finalization
• Coordinate with the scheduling department to determine priority of study scheduling
• Serve as the liaison between clients, staff, other departments / groups, and management to communicate expectations and business needs
• Serve as liaison between reports and research scientists to ensure quality reporting
• Supervise development of the scientific expertise of the Research Scientists / Study Directors ensuring opportunities for growth and accountability as needed
• Coordinate with the Chief Scientific Officer in business development activities
• Recognize, initiate, and lead improvement activities
• Develop training programs, mentorship opportunities, and continued educational opportunities for direct reports
• Serve as a Study Director
• Other duties as assigned
