Library Assistant I – Substitute

Hourly Wage : $18.73 / hour

Closing date : Open until filled – first review of applications begins September 17, 2025.

Schedule : Varies, on call (seven days a week); up to 69 hours / month

Responsibilities :

• Help patrons access materials, including checking items in and out
• Assist patrons in the use of Internet resources and the library catalog
• Perform clerical tasks as assigned
• Opportunity to be trained as a Bookmobile driver
