Position : Category Manager-Fuel
Reports to : Director Fuels, Car Wash and Business Development

Summary
The Fuel Category Manager helps facilitate the day-to-day operations of the refined fuel business of Campbell Oil Company / BellStores. This role works to ensure consistency of offering of forecourt operations and capitalize on growth opportunities.
Essential Functions :
- Daily fuel pricing, utilizing current provider Price Advantage ensuring volume and margin goals are met
- Work to optimize all tools and functions of current solution
- Periodically evaluating other competing fuel pricing solutions
- Function as primary contact for relationships with external vendors as assigned, specifically refined products manufacturers (Marathon Petroleum) and hauling relationship (Kenan Advantage)
- Work with contacts at both external partners to ensure stores are supplied with fuel requirements 24 / 7 / 364 (IE handle allocation or other supply chain issues)
- Assist Marketing department in rollout of various branded oil and BellStores related marketing activities
- Liaison POS / IT department in any oil brand related POS / technology changes
- Maintain visibility to Maintenance and Accounting departments to any issues related to fuel (IE quality issues, delivery shortages, cross drops etc.)
- Oversee Campbells consignment dealer (7 locations) and Non-Consignment Dealer (5 locations)
- Participate in store inspections (1 district per month) ensuring we are executing our standards for all facets of the location
- Assist in onboarding acquisition sites / new to industry sites as necessary
- Assist in offboarding disposition sites as necessary
- Occasional travel to various industry events such as but not limited to MPACT, SOI, NACS, etc.
