Associate Attorney for Boutique Plaintiffs' Firm

Associate Attorney at a boutique Atlanta-based law firm that focuses on catastrophic personal injury cases…including but not limited to, medical malpractice, wrongful death, tractor-trailer cases, wrongful police shootings, premises liability, etc. The working environment is extremely friendly, professional and family-oriented. The standard work hours are 8 hours per day, 5 days a week, with a ½ hour lunch break included in the 8-hour day. However, all employees will be available to support any and all trials, which may include working after normal hours and working on weekends if needed. The infrequent after-hour and weekend work is in addition to the standard 40-hour workweek. The firm averages about 3-4 trials annually.

• Work Conditions-
• The associate lawyer will work on-site 5 days a week. The lawyer will have comfortable, independent office space, a computer, tech support, support staff and access to all material resources needed to perform at the highest level.
• Experience-
• Ideally, candidates will have at least 1-3 years working in civil litigation…on either side of the “v”. Candidates should have exceptional communication skills (written and verbal). They must have exceptional research and writing skills and should have the ability to comfortably communicate with people from all socioeconomic groups. Candidates must have the ability to actually care about their clients.

• Compensation-
• Base- $75,000-$150,000 depending on experience. Bonuses are paid based upon the discretion of the managing partner. xklufbp Compensation includes annual 2 weeks of paid leave, 3 days of sick leave, medical health insurance (with an employee contribution) and a 401K plan.
• Probation Period-
• 6 months
