Job Title : Retail Team Leader

Location : East Rutherford, NJ

Type : Contract

Compensation : $24.00 hourly

Contractor Work Model : Onsite

Hours : Must be flexible during store hours including weekend hours

Duties and Responsibilities :

Oversee daily store operations, guide retail staff, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain compliance with company standards.

Supervise and support 6–10 retail staff per shift.

Oversee customer service, cash handling, and register accuracy.

Manage opening / closing duties and daily shift reports.

Ensure staff take and record all required breaks per NJ labor laws.

Communicate updates with HQ.

Handle customer issues, returns, and discounts per policy.

Maintain inventory accuracy and store presentation.

Coordinate with mall security during peak times or incidents.

Qualifications : 1-2 years of retail supervisory experience preferred.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

POS experience preferred.

Team-oriented and supportive of diverse, multilingual staff.

Japanese language skills are a plus.
