Data Pipeline Engineering Team, What We Do

We design, develop and deploy data driven batch and streaming systems supporting 11 major North American exchange markets trading over $1 trillion notional securities daily.  We store every order, cancel, and execution with care.  We architect systems managing 100s of billions of events per day.  We optimize for scalability, resiliency and performance.

We are a data processing focused software engineering team. We live and breathe automation.  We are analytical thinkers.  If it’s broken, we fix it.  If it needs refactoring, we refactor it.  If it’s hard to test, we make it testable.  We are pragmatic.  We ship code weekly.  We’re looking for like-minded individuals to join us.

Required Skills :

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience as Software Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with Python or strong desire to learn Python.
• Experience with Java or strong desire to learn Java.
• Experience with Postgres or similar relational databases.
• Experience with Snowflake, AWS and cloud-based services desirable.
• Experience with Kafka streaming platform or strong desire to learn about Kafka.
• Experience with Linux systems, shell scripting, command line proficiency and network concepts.
• Self-directed and self-motivated.

Our pay ranges are determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, role, experience, level, and location. The national new hire base pay range for this job in the United States is $97,750-$120,750. This range represents the minimum and maximum base pay the company expects to offer for new hires working in the position full time.
