Overview

Shift : Full-time Monday - Friday 9 : 00 am - 5 : 30 pm for 80 hours per pay period. This position does have a Saturday rotation working 9 : 00 am - 1 : 00 pm.

Responsibilities

Supports and manages the coordination of all aspects of medication acquisition and distribution to meet the goals and priorities of regional and UPH pharmacy services.

Responsible for day-to-day operations and oversight assuming the responsibility as the Pharmacist in Charge as applicable.

Helps plan and sustain clinical pharmacy programs to enhance patient care and performs and / or delegates the human resources functions of hiring training corrective action evaluations and staff development.

Maintains own personal goals and assists with developing departmental goals in support of the entire organization including meeting budget targets.

Leads quality initiatives to improve efficiency process workflows and outcomes both within the pharmacy and within the multidisciplinary team.

Responsible for supervising and implementing all aspects of the 340B programs including audits compliance and daily operations if applicable.

Qualifications

Education :

Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)

Experience :

Must have a minimum of (4) four years of relevant experience

Certification / License :

Must have an Iowa Pharmacist License issued by the Iowa Board of Pharmacy
