Overview
The Payment Analyst Lead is responsible for supervising a team and ensuring timely and accurate issuance of payments to providers in alignment with State and County regulations. Upholding exceptional customer service standards is paramount. Additionally, the Payment Analyst Lead may directly issue payments while supporting daily operations to achieve program and department objectives in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and regulations issued by the Department of Education, Title 5, County of San Diego, and YMCA of San Diego County.

Responsibilities
Ensure team compliance with State and County Regulations, maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to provider subsidy payment protocolsLead, coach, evaluate, and manage a team to uphold compliance with State, County and YMCA of San Diego County policies, procedures, and regulationsParticipate in recruitment, selection, training, scheduling, and performance measurement to foster staff development and growthCoordinate workload priorities to meet unit goals; oversee the process, orientation, and updates of childcare provider information to ensure timely authorization of childcare services; promote quality childcare among childcare providersTrack compliance and performance by reviewing and overseeing Payment Analyst and Subsidy Support workActively contribute to and engage in Community Support Services projects and workgroupsAssist in developing performance measures to align customer service and compliance operations with YMCA's mission, vision, goals, and objectivesRepresent the agency and professionalism and accuracy at provider focus group meetings, community collaboratives, program meetings, and events; May also present or conduct trainings for community partnersParticipate in both on-site and off-site learning opportunities, including workshops, conferences, staff meetings, and trainings; Coordinate and arrange for special meetings as neededTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS :
Must have access to reliable transportation to travel throughout San Diego CountyOccasional in-state and out-of-state travel requiredSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in child development, human services, or related field, or four (4) years' equivalent related experience required AND,A minimum of six (6) years' work experience required in :Four (4) years in claims processing within a community-based organization serving children, youth, families and / or adults
Two (2) years of experience of program support in comparable state or local funded subsidy childcare or child development programJOB COMPETENCIES :

Pay Range
USD $34.43 - USD $41.32 / Hr.
