Olaro is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Duration : 13 weeks
  • 36 hours per week
  • Shift : 12 hours, rotating

  • Must have 1.5 years of experience – system requirement
  • Will you accept a first-time traveler? No
  • RN :  BLS, ACLS ,  PALS
  • Comfortability with Preop, Recovery and Discharge of patients.
  • Comfortability to have boarded patients if hospital census is full and there are no inpatient beds available.
  • These skills are needed in addition to competencies in the below.
  • Variable shift RN : May be learned in orientation, but competencies include : IV insertion, ventilator training, epidural / PCA set up / initiation, initiation of blood product transfusions, competency with administration and monitoring of moderate sedation (will not work Intra-op in Endo but would prep and recover), critical thinking..
