Responsibilities
- Assist the service manager in the day-to-day operations of the Lucid Service Center, effectively managing a team of advisors, technicians, service assistants and parts staff.
- Lead the service center team by example, encouraging continuous improvement and delivering the best customer experience.
- Ensure work orders are detailed, complete and properly filled out; monitor the flow of work to meet customer expectations.
- Manage and develop the Service Team and the day-to-day service business, including customer service, reporting and repairs.
- Perform Performance Management : continually evaluate the performance of each employee and provide feedback to drive results.
- Select, train, and develop employees; ensure positions are filled in a timely manner; support and follow up on all training.
- Maintain the highest level of Lucid customer experience and develop professional relationships with clients and vendors.
- Manage timecards and schedules for service center team members; address client concerns or complaints quickly and professionally.
- Maintain working knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and ensure department compliance.
- Delegate and direct service tasks as directed by the service manager to ensure timely vehicle repairs and returns.
- Monitor employee work, provide guidance and ongoing development as needed; perform quality control checks on vehicles after repairs.
- Understand Lucid Motors mission and the importance of your contribution in your role.
- Assist with or perform administrative tasks; resolve people and safety issues in collaboration with Human Resources and appropriate teams.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years varied automotive service experience including measuring and holding the team accountable for KPIs (e.g., CSI, Repair Completion Time, Days Down, PDI Turnaround).Experience managing a team of technicians for selection, development, performance management, engagement and training.Exceptional ability to collaborate, motivate, and lead individuals, groups, and vendors; verifiable track record of excellence in customer service.Willingness to assist on repairs on an as-needed basis; strong organizational skills and ability to drive continuous improvement in a fast-moving environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to analyze and interpret internal reports; ability to use basic computer applications and learn proprietary DMS software.Ability to travel on an as-needed basis; willingness to complete Lucid-provided CPR training post-hire; valid driver license with no suspensions in the past year.Preferred Qualifications
AA / BS in Automotive Technology or Business Management, or equivalent work experience.Knowledge of HV systems, LV systems, and EV powertrains; start-up experience in fast-paced environments; prior OEM EV experience and training.ASE Certifications; EPA 609 Certification.Equal Employment Opportunity

The compensation range for this position is based on location and is determined by factors including experience, knowledge, and skills. Lucid offers a wide range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
