Job descriptionBS in Civil Engineering or similar field Must be willing to obtain a MA soil evaluators license 3+ year of relevant Civil Engineering experience Solid understanding of Civil Engineering principles and practices Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and Microsoft office Prior experience with grading, drainage, stormwater management, erosion, sediment control, or others is a huge plus!
Role : Civil Engineer - Land Development
Location : Woburn, MA
Compensation : $80,000 - $110,000 DOE (full suite of benefits, annual bonus, hybrid work schedule)
POSITION SUMMARY : We are on the hunt for a Civil Engineer who has a passion for land development and site planning. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the planning, design, and implementation of our projects from concept through completion. If this sounds like you, please read on!
DUTIES AND CORE RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Prepare detailed designs, plans, specifications, and reports using Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and other softwares
- Coordinate with Engineers and Project Managers to develop designs
- Coordinate with Surveyors, Consultants, and others to obtain data and input for design development
- Address project requirements, resolve technical issues, and obtain approvals and permits
- Attend site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with specifications
- Assist in the preparation of estimates, schedules, and permitting
- Perform other tasks as assigned
