Registered Nurse

Position Summary :

Registered Nurse (RN) administers skilled nursing care to patients (0-45 years) requiring professional nursing services, and teaches the patient, caregiver / family and other members of the nursing team. These nursing services are performed in accordance with the physician's orders and the established plan of care, under the direction and supervision of the location.

Hiring Requirements :

• Education, Skills & Experience (Essential) :
• A graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
• Holds a current nursing license in good standing as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice (or a compact state with the state) in which he / she practices.
• Have a minimum of six (6) months recent, verifiable RN nursing experience in a pediatric acute care or home health setting. A minimum of one (1) year of recent, verifiable, acute care nursing experience as an RN preferred.
• Have a minimum of six (6) months recent, verifiable RN nursing experience in an acute care or home health setting if servicing patients over the age of 20. A minimum of one (1) year of recent, verifiable, acute care nursing experience as an RN preferred.
• Must be professional and able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
• Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English.
• Must possess a valid state driver's license.
• Must possess automobile liability insurance as required by law.
• Must wear seat belts at all times while driving.
