Stevens Foster, a respected independent wealth management firm, is seeking aBusiness Development Executive to lead our next phase of growth. In this entrepreneurial, field-based role, youll cultivate new relationships with corporate executives and high-net-worth families, expand our referral network, and connect prospective clients with our advisory team. The Opportunity

As the

Business Development Executive at Stevens Foster, youll be the firms dedicated growth leader identifying, cultivating, and converting new client opportunities. Youll represent our integrated wealth platform, where tax, planning, and investment professionals collaborate to deliver a seamless experience for every client.

This is a hands-on, relationship-driven position. Youll spend much of your time out in the field engaging with executives, centers of influence, and community networks to introduce new clients to Stevens Foster. Once relationships are established, youll partner with our advisory and planning teams to ensure a smooth onboarding and long-term success.

What Youll Do

  • Build and execute a business development plan focused on high-net-worth and executive clients.
  • Develop referral partnerships with attorneys, accountants, and centers of influence.
  • Generate and qualify leads through networking, targeted outreach, and community events.
  • Partner with advisors to deliver a seamless transition from prospect to client.
  • Track outreach, pipeline, and conversion metrics in CRM; report results to firm leadership.
  • Represent Stevens Foster at professional, philanthropic, and industry gatherings.

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of success in business development within wealth management, private banking, or other high-trust professional services.
  • Proven ability to attract and engage executive or high-net-worth clients.
  • Strong understanding of financial services and the client relationship lifecycle.
  • Established professional network within the Twin Cities region strongly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and results-driven; thrives in an entrepreneurial environment.
