Project Manager – Packaging Operations
Contract Duration : 6 months
Schedule : Hybrid (Onsite Monday–Thursday in Orlando, remote Fridays)
Pay Range : Up to $40 / hr
Overview
We’re seeking a Project Manager with experience in packaging operations to oversee the end-to-end process of packaging development. This role involves managing timelines, resources, and deliverables across multiple teams—including creative, sourcing, merchandising, and product design—to ensure on-time, high-quality execution.
This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment , with over 150 active projects at a time. Ideal candidates are organized multitaskers with a background in creative production, packaging, or agency project management .
Key Responsibilities
- Manage structural and creative packaging projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with product timelines and launch calendars.
- Lead category-specific packaging initiatives with a focus on timing, accuracy, and collaboration.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Creative Design, Structural Packaging, Sourcing, and Merchandising.
- Track and report project progress using project management tools; maintain dashboards and documentation for leadership visibility.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve packaging processes.
- Support a collaborative, high-performing team environment by sharing best practices and lessons learned.
- Escalate project issues as needed to ensure delivery standards and deadlines are met.
Qualifications
3+ years of project management or related experience in a creative, packaging, or product development environment .Strong understanding of both structural and creative packaging processes .Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.Experience using project management tools such as Workfront or Smartsheet (Adobe Workfront experience a plus).Proficiency in Microsoft Office .Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and adapt to shifting priorities.Bachelor’s degree in Packaging, Business Operations, Project Management , or a related field (or equivalent experience).Nice to Have
Experience in retail or product development .Background in agency or creative production environments .
