OR Tech Job Details – Aspen, CO Location : Aspen, CO 81611 – Premier Colorado healthcare jobs in a world-class mountain destination Estimated Weekly Pay : $2250 - $2310 per week Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 25 / 2025 – End : 2 / 24 / 2026) Shift : Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday (subject to change), 6 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM (10-hour shifts) Hours per Week : 40 Employment Type : Travel Operating Room Tech Contract Operating Room Tech Qualifications Unrestricted Surgical Technologist (ST) license in Colorado or ability to obtain before start date Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (can be obtained upon hire) Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) experience required; 2 years preferred Surgical Technologist certification (NCCT TS-C or NBSTSA CST) preferred Bilingual in Spanish preferred Ability to safely work in a high-altitude, low oxygen environment (Aspen is at 8,000 ft elevation) Key Responsibilities – Surgical Technologist Maintain sterile field and manage surgical instrumentation for all operating room procedures Prepare operating room and surgical supplies efficiently for each case Communicate effectively with the perioperative healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care following AORN standards Collaborate with surgical staff and assist with inventory, stocking, and ordering of supplies Provide additional clinical support and patient care as directed by the surgical team Note : Travel healthcare professionals are responsible for securing their own housing.
