Certified Medical Coder

A company is looking for a Coder 3 to manage coding tasks for various medical services remotely.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to track and complete coding assignments

Review medical records to assign appropriate ICD-10 CM / PCS / CPT and HCPCS codes

Mentor and train other coders while ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining data integrity

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Associate's Degree or Diploma School Program (Preferred)

Certification such as CPC, CSS, CCA, RHIT, RHIA, or CPMA (Required)

Minimum of 2 years of experience in coding (Required)

Proficiency in ICD-10 coding (Required)
