Quality Control Underwriter

A company is looking for a Quality Control Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct Quality Control examinations and document loan reviews, providing feedback on errors

Audit loans for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards

Provide coaching and training to staff to meet departmental goals and KPIs

Required Qualifications

5+ years of current experience in underwriting, with a focus on Quality Control and Due Diligence

3+ years of experience reviewing NON QM loans

Experience with LauraMac

Strong knowledge of Fannie Mae / Freddie Mac guidelines and QM / Ability to Repay Rules

Deep understanding of DSCR / business purpose loans
