Inpatient Psychiatrist Full-Time (Permanent)

Location : Muskegon, Michigan

Setting : Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit

Position Overview

Join a mission-driven, well-resourced behavioral health team as a full-time Inpatient Psychiatrist in beautiful Muskegon, MI. This hospital-employed position offers a collaborative clinical environment with built-in flexibility, strong support, and opportunities for leadership, teaching, and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive inpatient psychiatric care for adult patients

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and manage psychotropic medication plans

Collaborate with APPs, RNs, case managers, and social workers in daily multidisciplinary rounds

Document using a modern EMR system

Schedule : Monday Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM (flexibility available)

Call : 1 : 4 weekend rotation (optional extra shifts available for added income)

Opportunities for teaching residents / medical students and participating in research or leadership initiatives

Qualifications

Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Psychiatry (BC within 2 years)

Michigan Medical License (or ability to obtain)

DEA & BLS Certification

Open to new graduates and experienced providers

Salary : Competitive base (based on experience)

Relocation Assistance : Up to $10,000
