Wish Farms is hosting an internship for interns who are eager to develop competencies needed to be professionally successful in the agriculture industry :
Project Title : Marketing Intern
Reports to : Director of Marketing
Mentor / Buddy : Social Media & Content Coordinator
Project Length / Start and End Date : January 2026 – May 2026 (Interviewing begins in Nov)
Schedule : TBD, flexible around class schedule
Location : Wish Farms Main Office 2262 Pixie Way, Plant City, FL 33563
Objectives & Goals of the Project :
- Experience the planning process and gain an in-depth understanding of the Wish Farms marketing department and the functions it supports
- Work alongside the marketing team and assist with tasks that contribute to the success of marketing fresh berries to consumers, customers, and growers
- Help with internal communication efforts sharing news and updates to our Wish Farms staff
- Contribute your creative ideas and assist with execution of new content creation
Duties & Responsibilities :
Compile monthly office calendarCreate and schedule monthly birthday / anniversary emails via MailChimpAssist with social media customer service and engagement on Facebook and InstagramCompile content ideas / content creation for social media platforms (supervised)Schedule Facebook postsCreate Pin designs for Pinterest via Canva (supervised)Write and post blogs on Wish Farms website (supervised)Assist with recipe shoots / add items to Wish Farms websiteAttend / assist with company events and toursCreate relationships with staff by asking insightful questions and providing a fresh perspectiveUphold the core values of Wish Farms (Quality, Integrity, Responsiveness)Other assigned duties as requested by managementThroughout this project you will learn :
To build interpersonal and communication skillsEnhance and develop professional skills in the area of social media management, content creation, internal communication strategies, event planningGain experience in independently managing time and prioritiesGain experience in various software programs including, WordPress, MailChimp, Canva, Facebook, Instagram, Monday.com, YoDeckBecome more comfortable presenting information in front of groupsRequirements :
Must be currently enrolled in college degree program related to the project or have recently graduated within the past yearA desire to pursue a career in the agriculture industryWell organized with a strong attention to detailCommitted to meeting deadlinesProfessional demeanorCompensation & Benefits :
Wish Farms values your contribution and would like to compensate you accordingly. This will be a paid internship at the rate of $15 per hour. Paychecks will be issued weekly on Wednesdays.
