Wish Farms is hosting an internship for interns who are eager to develop competencies needed to be professionally successful in the agriculture industry :

Project Title : Marketing Intern

Reports to : Director of Marketing

Mentor / Buddy : Social Media & Content Coordinator

Project Length / Start and End Date : January 2026 – May 2026 (Interviewing begins in Nov)

Schedule : TBD, flexible around class schedule

Location : Wish Farms Main Office 2262 Pixie Way, Plant City, FL 33563

Objectives & Goals of the Project :

  • Experience the planning process and gain an in-depth understanding of the Wish Farms marketing department and the functions it supports
  • Work alongside the marketing team and assist with tasks that contribute to the success of marketing fresh berries to consumers, customers, and growers
  • Help with internal communication efforts sharing news and updates to our Wish Farms staff
  • Contribute your creative ideas and assist with execution of new content creation

Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Compile monthly office calendar
  • Create and schedule monthly birthday / anniversary emails via MailChimp
  • Assist with social media customer service and engagement on Facebook and Instagram
  • Compile content ideas / content creation for social media platforms (supervised)
  • Schedule Facebook posts
  • Create Pin designs for Pinterest via Canva (supervised)
  • Write and post blogs on Wish Farms website (supervised)
  • Assist with recipe shoots / add items to Wish Farms website
  • Attend / assist with company events and tours
  • Create relationships with staff by asking insightful questions and providing a fresh perspective
  • Uphold the core values of Wish Farms (Quality, Integrity, Responsiveness)
  • Other assigned duties as requested by management

    • Throughout this project you will learn :

  • To build interpersonal and communication skills
  • Enhance and develop professional skills in the area of social media management, content creation, internal communication strategies, event planning
  • Gain experience in independently managing time and priorities
  • Gain experience in various software programs including, WordPress, MailChimp, Canva, Facebook, Instagram, Monday.com, YoDeck
  • Become more comfortable presenting information in front of groups

    • Requirements :

  • Must be currently enrolled in college degree program related to the project or have recently graduated within the past year
  • A desire to pursue a career in the agriculture industry
  • Well organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Committed to meeting deadlines
  • Professional demeanor

    • Compensation & Benefits :

    Wish Farms values your contribution and would like to compensate you accordingly. This will be a paid internship at the rate of $15 per hour. Paychecks will be issued weekly on Wednesdays.
