CBIZ . This full‑time position is located in the West region (Arizona, California, Washington) and offers a competitive salary target of $150,000–$225,000 plus comprehensive benefits.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

Regarded as a subject matter expert within the business unit and shares knowledge.

Make recommendations on internal department procedures and recognize business opportunities for clients and CBIZ.

Assume significant client responsibility as a trusted advisor, proactively communicate solution options to client and team.

Manage staff on engagement deliverables (tax returns, financial statements, work papers, etc.) and conduct final engagement reviews to ensure quality control standards are met.

Responsible for new client development in partnership with upper management; participate in client meetings, presentation and proposal development and meet individual cross‑serve goals.

Responsible for billing and realization on assigned clients; develop overall engagement budget and explain variances.

Supervise, train and mentor staff; conduct performance feedback and evaluations.

Drive a team environment; demonstrate support of management decisions and build a positive culture.

Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.

8 years experience in public accounting or related field.

5 years supervisory experience.

Must have active CPA or equivalent certification.

Ability to manage all aspects of client engagements and meet deadlines.

Proficient use of applicable technology.

Must be able to travel based on business needs.

The annual salary target for this job in this market is $150,000–$225,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skillset of the individual selected for this position.
