Lighthouse Electric extends hands-on work experience opportunities to college students and post-high-school individuals through our internship program. Interns will actively engage in real projects within various departments of the company, gaining valuable skills and knowledge in the construction field.

Our Virtual Design Construction internship program goes beyond a traditional summer job; it is a professional and educational experience designed to equip interns with the expertise needed for a successful postgraduate career in Engineering, Construction, and Virtual Design.

We highly value the internship experience when considering candidates for future roles within our company, aiming to cultivate the next generation of VDC leaders. Lighthouse Electric seeks motivated individuals who aspire to make a positive impact in their community and grow personally and professionally. Our ideal VDC internship candidates should :

• Be enrolled in a four-year institution, two-year technical school, or possess a High School diploma / GED.
• Have a major or interest in Engineering, Computer Aided Drafting and Design, or a related field.
• Demonstrate a proactive, open-minded approach, a strong eagerness to learn, contribute ideas, and collaborate effectively within a team.

Duration of Internship & Expected Work Hours :

Anticipated Start Date : Spring or Summer - May 18th, 2026.

8-12 Weeks; Monday-Friday 6 : 30 am 3 : 00 pm

Location : Canonsburg Office (In Office Internship / No Remote)
