About the Role
The Manager, Market Insights is responsible for supporting the execution of competitive research and market intelligence initiatives. Reporting to the Sr. Director of BI - Consumer Ecom and Market Insights, this role will manage select projects, collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders, and contribute to key insights that drive brand and business strategy. The Manager will assist in developing research materials, managing external vendors, analyzing data, and presenting actionable insights in a clear and compelling way. This individual is expected to bring strong research acumen, curiosity, and a collaborative spirit to the CMI team. The Manager consistently ensures that work from the team is delivered on time, of high quality, and grounded in clear, actionable insights and recommendations. Beyond execution, this role partners with their superiors to play a key part in continuously improving tools and methodologies. This individual leads by example, showing a strong hands-on and collaborative approach to supporting the business and their team in delivering high-impact work. They are collaborative, proactive, and responsive to the evolving needs of a fast-paced and stakeholder-driven environment.
What You'll Do
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of insights
Deliver impactful presentations and tailor insights and next steps to diverse leadership levels and audiences
Assist in data cleaning, analysis, and synthesis, transforming raw data into clear and actionable insights
Manage team capacity by prioritizing incoming requests and aligning projects to strategic objectives.
Be able to determine automations and efficiencies were needed
Execute and manage custom consumer research and market intelligence projects, including survey development, data collection, and reporting.
This includes collaborating with the Consumer Insights (sentiment) team to ensure consistent and clear messaging
Support the development of seasonal strategy decks, brand tracking studies, product testing, and shopper journey research
This includes weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, as well as ad hoc requests
Help maintain and improve the team's research toolkit and best practices
Present research findings to cross-functional partners in a clear, concise manner
Build positive working relationships across brand, marketing, product, and digital teams
Contribute to vendor evaluations and manage project-level budgets in collaboration with senior leadership
Support team onboarding and peer learning initiatives to build broader research capabilities
Lead, mentor, and support a team of analysts and insights professionals to deliver high-quality, data-driven market analysis.
May oversee junior team members or interns on a project basis
What You'll Bring
Strong understanding of market research methodologies and analytics tools
Excellent project management skills; detail-oriented and organized
Strong communication & presentation skills; able to simplify complex findings into actionable insights
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel; experience with tools like Qualtrics, SPSS, or Tableau / Power BI a plus
Self-motivated, curious, and results-driven
Client-service mindset with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
Strong leadership : Has the ability to align key / critical talent around priorities, troubleshoot issues, and keep a high performing team performing, motivated and growing
Strong ability to synthesize insights content across market and consumer research to formulate strategic plans
Strong understanding of diverse research methodologies and how they can be applied to generate value
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to discuss complex information in an easy-to-understand manner
Ability to partner effectively within a complex organization
Easily adaptable to changing situations and demonstrates flexibility in juggling priorities
Strong analytical abilities, demonstrated critical thinking skills
Team player; ability to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders
Education : Bachelor's degree in marketing, Market Research, Business, Statistics, or a related field; advanced degree a plus
Pay Range : $101,300 $137,000
PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions on job advertisements in the United States based on local requirements. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills. Additional Compensation : This role is bonus eligible.
