Job Summary : Provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered nursing care in a supportive environment that emphasizes best practices and exceptional customer service. The position involves shared leadership responsibilities within acute care settings such as medical, surgical, emergency, intensive care, childbirth, pediatric, operating room, and specialty units.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Effectively manage time and resources, prioritizing critical tasks while balancing short- and long-term objectives.
- Apply new knowledge and skills gained through ongoing education to improve patient care and promote cost-saving practices.
- Make patient care assignments based on nurse expertise, patient acuity, and technical needs.
- Deliver excellent guest relations to patients, families, physicians, and colleagues, embodying core values such as respect, integrity, collaboration, empathy, and courage.
- Communicate clearly to manage expectations and provide timely responses to patient needs, ensuring a positive care experience.
- Maintain a therapeutic environment by minimizing noise and supporting healthcare students and their programs.
- Prioritize patient and workplace safety by adhering to national safety standards, HIPAA, Just Culture principles, and reporting systems.

Education and Experience :
Graduate of an accredited nursing program or, if unaccredited, a minimum of five years of acute care nursing experience.Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or required within five years of hire; enrollment in an accelerated MSN program is acceptable.Completion and maintenance of area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or specialty certifications as required.Licensure and Certifications :
Current active Registered Nurse license as required by the state nursing board.Work Shift : Night shift, typically 6 : 00pm - 6 : 30am, part-time (24 hours weekly).
