A premier mobile repair industry client is seeking an experienced Mobile Diesel Mechanic. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about diesel engine repair and maintenance, offering the flexibility of an on-call schedule and performance-based compensation.

Position Summary

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered tractors and trailers at various locations. You will perform routine maintenance, leverage advanced diagnostic tools, and ensure each vehicle meets stringent quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Diesel Repair and Maintenance

Diagnose and repair diesel engines on tractors and trailers to meet industry standards.

Perform comprehensive quality inspections to verify repair accuracy and service integrity.

Own and maintain a complete set of personal tools necessary for mobile repairs.

Provide clear, professional explanations to fleet managers and drivers regarding repair status and recommendations.

Efficiently manage service appointments to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical training or a degree in automotive technology is preferred.

A minimum of 3 years in diesel engine maintenance and repair.

Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting abilities.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and emergency calls.
