Urgent Care Physician Assistant

Position : Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) - Urgent Care

Location : San Antonio Texas

Schedule : Full-Time, 4 Days / Week

Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Urgent Care team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. You will work alongside a collaborative healthcare team to diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of acute and non-emergent medical conditions.

Responsibilities :

Provide urgent care services for patients of all ages, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.

Perform procedures such as wound care, suturing, splinting, and other minor interventions.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).

Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care.

Document patient encounters in the electronic medical record system accurately and timely.

Qualifications :

Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license.

National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA).

Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or Family Practice experience preferred.

Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation & Benefits :

Starting salary : $150,000 annually
