A 25-bed, critical access hospital is seeking OBGYN Coverage due to an upcoming gap in GYN coverage.
120 births per year
The OB / GYN department is somewhat small, however, they're a very skilled, tight-knit team, all committed to providing the best care to their community.
Due to the gap in GYN coverage, the provider will need to have strong GYN skills (including caring for endometrial ablation, IUD insertion / removal, menopausal management, failed medical management, urinary Incontinence, etc.)
The locum will be on 2nd call most (if not all) days listed below and will sometimes have days both on-call and in clinic.
The clinic staffs with OB / GYNs, FM / OBs, and CNMs.
CNMs take first call; the OB / GYN is usually only called in when there are complications.
