Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience

Active Illinois RN license (Illinois healthcare jobs)

BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA required)

Current ER specialty skills checklist (within 1 year)

2 supervisory references with employment dates

Permanent address outside a 50-mile radius of Vandalia, IL

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care in the Emergency Room

Provide clinical leadership and support to the patient care team during assigned shifts

Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients in urgent and emergent situations

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Accurately document patient care according to hospital and healthcare standards
