The full-time Operations Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the Rides, Park Services, and Aquatics departments to ensure safe, efficient, and guest-focused experiences throughout Morgan’s Wonderland . This position is responsible for leading and supporting supervisory staff and team members, upholding operational standards, and maintaining an inclusive, welcoming environment for guests and employees alike.
Requirements : ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provide daily leadership and supervision to Rides, Park Services, and Aquatics departments to ensure smooth, safe, and guest-oriented operations.
- Oversee departmental supervisors and ensure compliance with all safety, accessibility, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to plan and execute training, scheduling, and performance evaluations for departmental team members.
- Ensure all areas of the park meet cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards.
- Respond to operational issues, maintenance requests, and guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Serve as Manager On Duty as assigned, overseeing all park operations and responding to emergencies or incidents.
- Support event setup, breakdown, and operational coordination for park events and rentals.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and operational evaluations to ensure adherence to park policies and safety standards.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace that reflects Morgan’s Wonderland’s mission and values.
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new team members as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of incidents, maintenance issues, and operational reports.
- Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure seamless guest experiences across all areas of the park.
- Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager or senior leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience in hospitality, theme park, recreation, or operations management required.Supervisory experience with multi-department oversight strongly preferred.Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment with changing priorities.Strong commitment to safety, guest service, and team development.Must be dependable, proactive, and capable of making sound decisions under pressure.Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive situations professionally.Must have current iROC Certification or ability to receive certification within first month.Must have current Red Cross CPR or ability to receive certification within first month.Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and varied hours depending on operational needs.Commitment to the mission and values of Morgan’s Wonderland and the Morgan’s Inclusion Initiative.WORKING CONDITIONS
