Environmental, Health, And Safety Specialist
The Environmental, Health, And Safety Specialist position includes a strong understanding of local, state and federal laws, how to handle various situations with hazardous material, enforcing campus wide safety programs, understanding how each product can affect the environment, and perform routine audits on the company.
General Responsibilities
Experience / Qualifications
Produce and promote the highest standard of work possible in accordance with the company's AS9100, OHSAS 45001, ISO14001, IIP, Sarbanes Oxley, Lean / 6s standards and any other standards that the company adheres to.
Work as a member of a team helping to implement, carry out and drive compliance and continuous improvement of all company working practices and ESH procedures.
Carry out any other function necessary for the smooth running of the Department.
Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.
Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results.
Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and / or external customers.
Must be capable of occasional physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 lbs.
Support facility maintenance with safety and environmental projects and repairs.
New equipment safety assessment and ergonomic interface.
Base Salary Range : $86,800.00 - $119,350.00
