American Muscle Docks & Fabrication (AMD) – INSIDE SALES PROCESS MANAGER
AMD seeks a motivated, experienced individual to join our inside sales - project management team. This role requires experience with construction, fabrication, cost estimating, customer and supplier relations, specification development, product build scheduling, and project history documentation. The successful candidate will market, quote, contract, and administer floating docks projects, products, and services for our marine access business. This position reports to the President.

Develops and applies a solid knowledge of the marina industry, boat dock design and construction, and AMD products.Provides marine access solutions for commercial and residential customers throughout the entire sales process.Serves as the “turnkey” project manager, ensuring an exemplary customer experience from “initial point of contact” to “point of order” through “customer delivery”.Confirms customer requirements by generating specifications and a project quote.Obtains customer signature on contract and project design; collects down payment before allocating materials and scheduling production.Inputs project into the QuickBooks system.Follows order throughout the fabrication process, verifying conformance to specifications.Obtains final payment and estimated ship date for customer order.Verifies delivery of shipment and customer satisfaction.Updates Customer Project File to include quote approval, sales order, customer-approved drawings, bill of materials, shipping details, pre- and post-project completion photos, and customer endorsements.Maintains and nurtures positive business, customer, and dealer relationships.Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment, utilizing a cost-conscious, “solution-focused” approach to achieve superior customer service.Requirements :
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS :
Bachelor’s degree in business, Business Administration, Marketing, Construction, or equivalent.2+ years of experience in inside sales in a manufacturing environment; knowledge of the dock manufacturing and the metal fabrication industry is a plus!2+ years of “hands-on” project leadership experience combined with an excellent track record of sales and contract administration for projects ranging from $1 – 6+ million.Excellent applied math, budgeting, and construction measurement skills, with the attention to detail necessary to develop project costs and specifications.Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), QuickBooks, HubSpot, CRM, Google Workspace, and related web-based applications. MAC / PC familiarity.Consummate professional and highly ethical, positive culture addition.Professional verbal and written communication, relationship development, consulting, problem-solving, organization, time management, and project documentation skills.Demonstrates AMD’s core values : Respect, Precision, Urgency, Mastery, Positivity.Interfaces with customers and plant personnel in a fast-paced office and plant setting.
