We are looking for careful forklift operators to move pallets and material around our facility. You will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. Your job will involve driving around warehouses, storage racks, and other locations where personnel are present.

You must be a responsible individual with outstanding experience in driving industrial vehicles. The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be stored in the correct place (5-S) and available at the right place and time to achieve maximum efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them at assigned locations
• Locate, transport, and load products on trailers for shipment. Communicate cross-functionally any shortages before trucks are permitted to leave without 100% of their goods
• Meet load and unload times of 1-hour for either. 45 minutes to load / unload and 15 minutes for paperwork.
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies. Report immediately any damage done to materials, finished goods, or the building / property
• Transport raw materials to production workstations in a timely fashion ensuring no outages that could affect production.
• Inspect forklift and machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
• Completes both inbound and outbound paperwork as well as records transfers to / from production
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
• Help to maintain a safe and orderly environment
