Job Summary

The 92NY May Center for Health, Fitness & Sport hosts a variety of member-based classes for adults of all ages and fitness levels. We are seeking instructors certified to teach Primary Group Exercise (Body Conditioning / Strength), Aquasize, Zumba, Yoga, Pilates, Spin, Aerobics (including step) and Body Conditioning. 92NY Group Exercise provides a supportive environment for staff and patrons.

Minimum of 6 months teaching experience required. Must hold relevant certification. No minimum hours.

Job Responsibilities Include

Safely conduct assigned group exercise classes.

• Deliver class-appropriate curriculum for varying fitness levels and ages.
• Ensure equipment is safely used and stored.

Compensation Range

$50 - $85 / hour

The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
