- Duties\
- Diaper changing, potty training
- Following bottle, diaper, and nap schedules
- Making and warming bottles
- Assists and supervises children during ALL activities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child based on their unique needs and abilities
- Utilize various teaching methods and materials to enhance learning experiences
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, documenting observations and maintaining accurate records
- Completes all academy and classroom paperwork : daily notes, student accident reports, attendance reports, etc
- Follows Kiddie Academy and PA state regulations on all health and safety policies and regulations
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to provide regular updates on their child's development and address any concerns or questions
- Foster a safe and supportive learning environment by enforcing classroom rules and promoting positive behavior management techniques
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that is conducive to learning
- Ensures all classroom and outdoor equipment are in good working condition and are used and maintained properly
- Assists children with mealtimes and clean-up
- Ensures classroom medication schedule is followed, when applicable
- Attends and participates in staff meetings, academy events, and parent meetings
- Experience\
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or daycare setting (1 year).
- Associates or Bachelors degree, preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, theories, and best practices
- Strong understanding of child development milestones and the ability to adapt teaching strategies accordingly
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom setting while maintaining a positive and nurturing atmosphere
- Qualifications\
- Must be 18yrs, or older
- U.S. work authorization, if applicable

- PA State Police
