Job descriptionPharmD from an accredited program. Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY2 in Oncology Pharmacy or equivalent oncology experience. Current or eligible Florida pharmacist license. Preferred : Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy (BCOP), prior academic / large hospital experience. Work in a leading academic medical center with access to advanced therapies and clinical trials. Collaborate in a multidisciplinary cancer program known nationwide. The Opportunity
UF Health is hiring a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist – Oncology to advance cancer care through expert medication management, collaboration with oncologists, and patient-focused support. This role is ideal for pharmacists who are passionate about oncology, evidence-based practice, and academic medicine.
What You’ll Do
- Provide specialized pharmacy expertise in oncology (inpatient and / or outpatient).
- Collaborate with oncologists and care teams to design, monitor, and optimize chemotherapy and immunotherapy regimens.
- Offer drug information and guidance for supportive care and toxicity management.
- Participate in tumor boards, multidisciplinary rounds, and research initiatives.
- Educate patients, families, and healthcare professionals on oncology therapies.
- Precept pharmacy residents and students in an academic health system.
