Job Title : Registered Nurse – Rehab Unit (Night Shift) Location : Ottumwa Regional Health Center, Ottumwa, IA Schedule : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (12-hour shifts) Assignment Type : Travel Contract

Overview : Ottumwa Regional Health Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join its Rehabilitation Unit on the night shift. This travel opportunity offers a chance to work in a supportive environment focused on patient recovery and functional improvement.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and individualized care plans
  • Monitor patient progress and document clinical observations accurately
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and case managers
  • Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals and discharge planning
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients recovering from surgery, injury, or illness

    • Qualifications :

  • Active RN license in the state of Iowa (or compact license)
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a rehab or med-surg setting
  • BLS certification (required)
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
