As a Security Officer - Armed Manufacturing Site - Full Time in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a prominent manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct regular unarmed patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, providing outstanding customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $16.80 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Monday to Friday 07 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach within the manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any irregularities.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and employees at the location, maintaining a visible and approachable presence.
  • Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities according to Allied Universal standards and client requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with site personnel and / or law enforcement as necessary during incidents or emergency response situations.
  • Remain aware of site-specific hazards that may be present within a manufacturing and industrial environment and report any hazards or irregularities appropriately.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Possess an active and valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
