Job Description

Join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic where you will be integral in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and maintaining high standards of housekeeping and GMPs. This position offers both first and second shift opportunities, including the possibility of overtime on weekends. Note that shift assignments are determined by the union, with a transition to a 3-2-3 schedule in the new year.

Responsibilities

• Maintain GMPs and excellent housekeeping practices.
• Operate, monitor, and perform minor troubleshooting of equipment to achieve optimum performance.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently.
• Troubleshoot packaging equipment to ensure smooth processing.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair using schematic blueprints and understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.

Work Environment

The work is conducted in a plant environment where temperatures may vary, and there is exposure to dust, noise, heat, cold, and chemical fumes. The role requires prolonged standing and walking, as well as bending, stooping, climbing, and crouching to service and troubleshoot equipment. Employees must be capable of lifting up to 60 lbs and working with moving mechanical parts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $66560.00 / yr.
