Summary :

Oversee the design, implementation and administration of system-wide compensation practices, standards and programs in alignment with the organization’s strategic business objectives. This Director provides thought leadership and compensation expertise to support all health system employees across the system. The Director will function as a consultant for HR leadership to improve perception and understanding of compensation plans, policies and processes.

Responsibilities :

Collaborate with leadership across the organization to identify / resolve compensation-related initiatives and issues.Prepare annual competitive analysis, recommendations and presentation to executive staff regarding targeted market-based pay adjustments to enable the attraction and retention of key talent within the organization.Lead all efforts of the Compensation team, addressing complex compensation-related business issues and establishing a positive direction for the department based on collaboration and continuous improvementLeads, mentors, and manages a team of Compensation professionals that support the healthcare systemDrive the benchmarking, design, and implementation of all compensation programs, including base pay, differential pay, and all incentive plans, and ensure they align with company strategy and best-in-class practicesUsing data-driven methodology, contribute to the development and maintenance of compensation policies and practices, including base pay and incentive standards and ensuring that they meet all legal requirementsProvide compensation and job evaluation expertise and advice to other members of the HR teamProvide subject matter expertise and guidance to executives, leaders, and employees regarding compensation philosophy, recommendations, strategy, administration, procedures, policies, practices, and communicationsLead the compensation function which has responsibility for strategic program development, implementation and delivery to attract, engage and retain talent within the organization.Manage and participate in key compensation projects, programs, and initiatives,
