Position Overview
GTI Laboratories is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR & Benefits Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. This role will play a key part in administering employee benefits programs while also supporting broader HR initiatives and daily operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, enjoys working with people, and has a strong interest in shaping employee experience and organizational culture.
Position Responsibilities
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement, leave, and wellness plans.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee benefit-related questions, assisting with issue resolution and guidance.
- Coordinate annual open enrollment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of employee benefit elections and update HRIS as needed.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes by ensuring benefits and HR paperwork are completed accurately.
- Assist with general HR tasks such as employee relations, HR reporting, compliance tracking, and personnel file maintenance.
- Partner with the HR team on initiatives such as employee engagement, policy updates, training, and special projects.
Position Qualifications
2+ years of experience in Human Resources, benefits administration, or a related field.Working knowledge of employee benefits, HR practices, and relevant compliance requirements.Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive employee relationships.Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.Competitive salary range : $58,000 – $60,000 annually , depending on experience.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays.Employee wellness programs and professional development opportunities.Collaborative, supportive work environment with opportunities for career growth.Equal Employment Opportunity Statement
